How To Tie Your Wild Rag: The Sliding Knot

As a part of a series of step-by-step tutorials, the sliding knot is a super simple yet sophisticated way to wear your wild rag. It is one of my personal favs. This knot can also be used to tie your scarf around your belt loop or handbag to complete a unique cowgirl inspired look.

  1. FOLD TWO OPPOSITE CORNERS IN

2. ROLL SCARF

3. BRING BOTH ENDS TO FRONT, ONE LONGER THAN THE OTHER, TAKE THE LONGER ONE AND CROSS OVER FRONT

4. PLACE POINTER FINGER THROUGH TOP

5. WRAP LONG END OVER POINTER FINGER AND BEHIND BOTH BOTH STRANDS

6. BRING SAME END TO FRIONT AND PULL THROUGH THE HOLE WHERE YOUR POINTER FINGER IS

7. PULL BOTH STRANDS DOWN AND MAKE THEM EVEN AT THE ENDS AND THEN PULL BOTH TO TIGHTEN

8. ADJUST KNOT TO SIT COMFORTABLY AROUND YOUR NECK
