How To Tie Your Wild Rag: The Buckaroo

As a part of a series of step-by-step how to tie your silk wild rag tutorials, the buckaroo is a classic knot that is simple to tie, and makes you look like a pro knot connoisseur.  Don't be deterred by the amount of steps, once you try this knot a few times, it will become second nature! 

  1. fold scarf in half into a triangle

 

2. Bring two ends to front and crossover

 

 

3. Bring two ends to front and crossover

4. crossover twice and place pointer finger underneath back end5. take hold of other end in the same hand with pinky finger and hold the top end with your pointer and middle finger

6. take the top end and pull it back up and through the top opening

7. pull and tighten your silk wild rag

8. place top end between pointer finger and thumb

9. grab the back end up around and through the loop wrapped around your pointer finger

10. pull both ends to tighten
